Since 1976 in Japantown
About SF76
SF76 is a Japanese homeware and gift shop in San Francisco Japantown, offering Hasami Porcelain, ARAS tableware, donabe, incense, kitchen tools, gifts, rotating in-store finds, and occasional pop-ups from Japan.
Our online shop highlights selected pieces, while the Japantown store often carries more items, seasonal arrivals, and small discoveries best experienced in person.
Our Story
Founded more than 45 years ago by three friends from Japan, Sanko began in San Francisco’s historic Japantown, sharing the warmth and beauty of Japanese homeware and culture with the local community.
In July 2021, the store entered a new chapter as SF76, carrying forward the same spirit of thoughtful curation and timeless design that has guided it from the very beginning.
Today, SF76 continues the legacy of Sanko, remaining dedicated to selecting home goods that bring a quiet sense of joy to everyday life.
